  1. Linda,

How do you help teachers with the integration of technology in the classroom? Any ideas for dealing with a reluctant staff?

  2. Linda,

Forgot to mention the following in my first post...

As a teacher of 7th graders, I see so many students who have difficulty navigating the computer keyboard. Hunting and pecking is not a very efficient way to work. Does your school incorporate keyboarding into the curriculum? At what age level? Do you see this as an important part of integrating technology?

    Linda,
Your media center website was very impressive. You have so many great resources in an easy to use format. How often do you update it?

I was also wondering how you document your collaboration efforts with teachers and how that documentation figures into your school's PL221 plan? When you collaborate with teachers, do participate in the formal assessment of student work? If so, do you focus that assessment on information literacy skills or the skills that the teacher has identified for the lesson?

    Thank you,
    Julie Mansfield North

    Linda,

I see that you have considerable experience with AIME (Association for Indiana Media Educators) including past president, and current chair of the Read Aloud Books Too Good to Miss committee. Can you describe how you were selected for these positions as well as your responsibilities for each? Also, how would you recommend someone new in the field to get involved with a professional organization (this year's AIME conference will be my first)?

    Thanks,

    Chad Heck

  5. Linda,

I see that you do some university teaching on the side. How did you get started in this?
